We used this small load center as an AC combiner box allowing us to bring together up to 3 separate circuits from the roof.

We used this for both the fuse (since we used line side taps) and the exterior disconnect.

International Connector created this package by my request to provide everything you need for a clean solar combiner box with breakers and surge protectors. I like the DK10N size to give some margin for most installs.

This is my favorite size, it's good for up to 6AWG wire. Use this one if you don't need ground blocks and just want to pass through or combine strings.

Stäubli 1 Pair MC4 Male and Female | 12AWG / 10AWG
These are more expensive than the off brand MC4 connectors, but I have found them to be a higher quality and are more compatible with other connectors brands. These are the only ones I use now.

Great to have on hand, you can get black and red to make your own cables of any length. I recommend 10AWG wire for all solar panel string connections.

If you need a lot of PV wire it's much cheaper in bulk.
This is two 500ft spools of 10AWG Copper PV Wire, one black and one red for a total of 1,000ft.

These stainless steel clips slide on the edge of the solar panel frame to control PV wiring behind the panels.
