Welcome to Projects With Everyday Dave!

My family and I worked together to build our energy efficient home with ICF ( Insulated Concrete Forms) construction.  I then installed my own DIY 9kW home solar system to supplement our homes power. I had a hard time finding the information I needed to make good decisions on how to design and install my own system.  I decided to film my install and share it on YouTube ( 9kW DIY Solar Install ).  That original video turned out to be way more popular than I expected, so I started adding more content about my performance results, cost and what I was learning as I continued to expand and modify my system.  My goal with this site is to create a destination to simplify solar education and resources for those of us who live or die by DIY!
